Tony Johnson, Architect

Tony Johnson is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Environmental Design (1981) and a Bachelor of Architecture (1983). He has been a North Carolina Registered Architect since 1985.

Tony worked for 7 years with D.W. Wolfe and Associates in Raleigh, NC as an intern and project architect. For 4 years, he worked with Federated National Inc., a hotel and resort development company with offices in State College, Pa. and Stafford, Va. There he was project manager for the renovation of the Toftrees Hotel and Resort in State College as well as several hotel and apartment building renovation projects throughout the northeastern US.

Tony returned to North Carolina in 1992 and established his own architectural practice. In over 22 years, he has completed design on several hundred projects of varied types and sizes.

He has served on the Town of Knightdale Architectural Review Board, the Town of Knightdale Unified Development Ordinance Steering Committee and the Town of Clayton Downtown Architectural Design Guidelines Committee.
